One of my favorite authors of the genre.

Get those pains-in-the-butt checked out, folks.

Flynn, Tom Clancy and W.E.B. Griffin are my favorite authors of adventure/war/spy novels. All told great stories. I'll miss Vince's.

Best VF story is how he got 60 rejections for his first novel before self publishing it. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Term Limits is still my favorite VF book. As the years go by, the plot line becomes ever more compelling.

If you're new to VF, I'd really recommend reading them in story order. That means that you'd actually read American Assassin first.

Same as above...

Google the chronological order and read em that way...

Just finished (last night) reading all of Vince Flynn's books in chronological order. Well written, entertaining, and prophetic (Term Limits). Thanks for bringing Flynn to my attention.

Once I found the Rapp series I was hooked. Like you I trucked through each one, looking forward to the next. Sad to lose Flynn for many reasons.

Yikes, that's really sad/scary. I've never read any of his books. Anyone have a good recommendation of where to start?

Start at the beginning and read all 14 books in chronological order. My public library had 12 of the books and the other 2 I got as Kindle e-books. Take your time and enjoy them all.

I think there is also something to be said for reading in order of publication. Flynn clearly progressed in his writing ability It's kind of fun to read the prequels after becoming immersed in the MR character. Either way it's a blast.
