Mobile, Alabama anyone?

Going to Mobile Alabama next week for business. Any good bike shops to visit? What should I see and where should I eat while in town? I won't have a bike, but maybe could rent one at a local shop? Anyone have any suggestions?

I thought going aboard the USS Alabama battleship was cool when I did it as a kid...since then, they've added a lot of additional attractions (planes, submarine, etc.)...

I live in Birmingham, one of the most bicycle unfriendly places I've ever been. I've not been to Mobile in quite awhile but there should be an abundance of great seafood. You can also cross the bay and go down to Gulf shores/Orange beach Alabama or Northwest Florida. If you've never been to this areas the beaches will surprise you. The water is emerald green and the sand is white as sugar. Most seafood will be local, shrimp, oysters, snapper, grouper and tuna.
