Saturday I and the group out of the LBS did an impromptu century (101.1) out SF, up the "Marshall Wall," by Tomales Bay, Point Reyes and then home. What a gorgeous ride!

Sunday was billed as a "recovery ride" but we went to Nicasio resevoir and back around Tiburon for a 76 mile ride.

I have never put that many miles in on one weekend, but I feel great. Hamstring problems are long gone. The best part was that after lunch on Sunday I hopped on my bike and it still felt good.
Props go out to Ari at City Cycle for the perfect fit!

Saturday I shoveled 10" of new snow off my 225' driveway. I'm thinking that equates to about a double centruy :D I did get about 50 minutes on the trainer Sunday. About this time of year I envy you guys in warmer climats.

drop me a line anytime anyone is out to visit!

There are 3 San Franciscos:
1) Tourist SF ("Frisco"): Alcatraz, Fisherman's Warf, etc
2) Local SF: coffee shops, small bistros
3) Biker's SF: Paradise Loop, Mt Tam, Alpine Dam, Nicasio.... Oooooh, I'd love to show it off!

Here is a picture of my banner weekend on the, er, um, skis...... : ) Actually, I can't say I'm all that jealous of year 'round biking because I also love the snow. I'm glad to hear your fit is dialed in and you are putting up the big numbers!

I would have felt better today after our 175-mile weekend if I hadn't been up drinking wine and otherwise misbehaving until three in the morning last night. :-)

But it's definitely a testament to City Cycle's fitting gurus that after a 175-mile weekend the only thing that hurts (other than my head) is my quads.

I chose to carbo-(re)load with Anchor Chrismas brew, but I fell asleep on the sofa with a unfinished bottle and pretzle crumbs on my belly at about 9pm. I don't know how you stayed up so late...
