One of the many and coolest reasons I enjoy living the cycling heaven, you get to partake in "events" like this on a regular basis. Can't wait to see what goodies the Vanilla workshop holds this time around...:hello:

I'd love some of the Honjos and a Nitto Technomic - amazing prices on a lot of this stuff.

I'm a big fan of sacha's work but isn't it a bit ironic that since we aren't seeing any new vanillas popping out of the workshop we're stuck fawning over a yard sale? one tee shirt and a XXL rapha sv softshell? Admittedly the anvil sounds cool.

If anyone is going to the garage sale and is willing to help a brother out - I'd truly be grateful. I'll pay shipping and handling and for your time. Thanks.

Too bad there are no frame sets in the garage sale but, at his quality level I guess its not surprising.

funny thing about the Speedvagen rubber pit boots... you can get the same boots without the SV logo for >$30 (http://www.farmandfleet.com/products/289591-servus-mens-max-gray-knee-high-rubber-boots.html#.UbjXBJxAqSo)

i'm a 'vagen fan and all, but after buying all my rapha kit i need to go generic on the boots.

On a related note, a Dad rolled up at the velodrome today on a '13 Vagen road in Surprise Me paint. Bars, stem and saddle painted to match. AND, Campy 80th SR hung on it. Holy crap...

Alex, I swear I saw it! Not even a camera phone handy for pics, though. I'll see if he is on it next week.

Not sure I'd ride a block to check out this unwanted stock, and yes I'm serious.

it's only worth going if there is something you might want (see the list) and the price fits your budget. if not, NBD...

Per Sacha's comments a 58cm Crossvagen and a 57 Vanilla road, too, though it looks like our own TJ has got a line on the roadie.

Either the Enve wheels/rims were sold or spoken for, either way they were removed from the list.

Some real bargains there. You must not need to shop thriftily.

I guess you then miss the point of such a cool "happening" in the local cycling community. The vast majority of folks aren't or won't go to 'score" something, most will just go to hang out with like minded, laid back cycling folks and just have a fun/chill evening provided by a cool team and an excellent builder who knows how to give back a bit to the community.

If anyone stops by, and the OP/CK Classic wheelset is still there, please snag it for me! I'll bring some fine Boneyard IPA your way for your trouble. I'd go myself, but we're leaving for 2 weeks in the Midwest tomorrow, so no way I can make it.
