Campy hubs and noise

Just an observation, but every factory built campy wheelset I've had has been super noisy (which I kind of like). I've ridden scirocco, zonda, shamal, bullett... Just got a set of handbiilts with record hubs, and they're nearly silent. Just found it funny, I figured they'd be the same. That is all :banana:

My Neutrons are pretty quiet, but not as quiet as my Topolinos.

My Record hubs are pretty quiet.....but they have light grease in the pawl area. Dry....or just oil, I imagine they would be a good bit louder.

Exactly. Degrease the pawls and lube with 20w50. Campagnolo sound is back.
