A buddy of mine is going to Boulder at the end of June and he is looking for a road bike rental for three days. An aluminum frame with a ~57.5 top tube and Ultegra would be fine. Any recommendations for shops that might provide rentals?

Boulder Bikesmith...they're known for rentals. Give them a call. I don't have any affiliation with the shop. Good luck.

University Bikes has good selection of mid-range to high end rentals at fair prices...I have rented from them many times before. Lou

Second on University Bikes. Call ahead to reserve the high end models.

I had a great experience with University.

I reserved a bike and brought my own saddle and pedals.

They used my fit dimensions to make a very ridaeable and enjoyable set up.

Great people to deal with.
