Isn't 2000 really high for that bike? Just my opinion, of course. Maybe I'm missing out on the "collector's value"?

It's overpriced. If he couldn't sell it to any members of this forum at that price, he certainly isn't going to get $2000. from anyone on Craigslist. The bike is interesting but it's been repainted, has standard components, and funky custom touring geometry. Collectors can buy a couple Fat Chances or other more collectable bikes for the amount he's asking..
