I succumbed to ebay fever and rather impulsively pulled the trigger on what was described as a set of Lightweight standard III's (mod's, I hope it is ok that I post the link to the ended auction, if not please let me know): http://www.ebay.de/itm/Lightweight-Standard-3-Laufradsatz-Carbon-/121118362779?pt=Sport_Radsport_Fahrradteile_Kompon enten&hash=item1c33378c9b&nma=true&si=rsr86BE%252B%252BY0gDtsN0RREWCLa1q8%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
Anyway, upon closer examination of the picture, the wheels seem to have both yellow (kevlar) and black (carbon) spokes. I somehow remember that the gen. III's had all carbon spokes? What do you guys think? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

From the photo, those appear to be gen II wheels. The spokes of gen III wheels were all black.

Agree with Happycamper; get the s/n's and have send them to LW via their site for model confirmation. Assuming they are II's, file a "item not as described" claim and work it out/send them back at their expense. Ebay buyer protection is pretty stout IMHO..
