anybody here ride cyclocross in the Los Angeles area?

I'm wondering if there are groups, or a class, for young kids? My oldest is 5 1/2 and I think that he would probably like it, but I don't have any experience with it (yet).

I did a few of these races, great time and they had a great kids class as well...

SoCal Cross is the organization. Get yourself a second hand bike and fix your kid up with something. Many kids race on their BMX bikes. Some on geared bikes. Light weight is better than heavy geared. The youngsters race on an abbreviated course but it usually has barriers. Bring the family. It is a riot.

Thanks much. I'll check them out. Good to know that they do have a kid's class as it's not apparent from the information on the website, or at least what I could find.
