Stan's valve on Mavic UST rims?

My LBS only has Stan's valves in stock. Will these fit pre 2013 Mavic UST rims? I can't tell how similar the shape is.

The stans I think have a conical "universal" shape, so as long as it can be pulled far enough into the rim bed, ie it doesn't bottom out on the sides of the mavic rim before it gets sucked into the hole, it should work fine. I have never tried it, but I can't see why it wouldn't work.

The Stan's should work with any UST rim. I have them on my UST Easton Havens, and while they're a different shape than the Easton valves, they work perfectly. If you're super worried, just take your wheel to the LBS to try before you buy.

Clamp 'em down, they will be OK. If you are worried about making sure the bead of the tire gets into the rim bead around the valve rubber gasket, trim it a LITTLE BIT', so that it fits better.
