Is anyone aware of any Serotta F3 8.5 43mm rake forks that are in a retail stores inventory? Or in your inventory?

I'm thinking about replacing the Z-Pro fork on my Fierte IT. With the current prices from the factory, I'd like to look around and see if any shops have one they'd sell for a little less $. Need a steerer tube length of 300mm or longer.

Thanks for any leads.

Thom

PS. Mods - if this belongs in the Classifieds, feel free to move. Thx.

Yes. Serotta does sell forks.
They are quoting 1-3 weeks lead time depending on stiffness, rake and finish. The F3 (ti dropouts) $665 and the S3 (alum dropouts) $565.
For more info you can contact me at Savile Road, Serotta direct, or your local Serotta dealer for more info.

I think not, my understanding is that they were always available.

if budget is at all an issue, may I just cast a vote for the Reynoulds Ouzo Pro and Pro UL forks, they rock and are cheap second hand

No, Serotta has been building their own forks for quite a while. They supplied a touring fork for my Milholland build two years ago.

Bill here from Serotta.

Feel free to call us if you want to buy a F3 fork. We offer them in several stiffness levels and rakes.

You can contact us at teamserotta@serotta.com or just call us at 518-584-8100. We would be happy to try and help get you in touch with a local Serotta Factory Professional.

Thanks.

If you're looking for a 1" carbon fork, one alternative is the Columbus Minimal Fork - reasonably light at a list weight of 325g (uncut); I can fit 25mm wide tires AND crud fenders; and it is not too expensive ranging from about $210 (UK retailers) to $350 list price - way cheaper than a new Serotta fork!:no:

Good Luck! :butt::cool::banana:

I have an F3. used to have an F1.

The F3 is exceptional. I wish they were a bit more competitive in price.

The forks are made in the USA and are strong and lite. :) but then I am very biased about them.

Specs of what you need should be matched to whatever fork you want. There are other good forks ....and weaker ones also:mad:
