Anybody use the 1upUSA roof tray on their racks? They seem simple straight forward and durable. It seems the rear/hitch rack have gotten good marks.

Thanks,

Paul

This pertains to my interest. I need something for our Toyota Sienna that does not involve me installing a trailer hitch.

I'm thinking that style won't work so well for a bike with fenders mounted?

Anybody use this on their roof? It seems the hitch mounted racks work well, but I am looking at the roof version.

I just upgraded to Rocky Mounts Pitchforks and they're excellent. Reasonable, too; I think I paid $140 shipped for a pair, in (admittedly boring) silver. Colors were more.

AFAIK it is the exact same tray...just different mounting...i plan to get one

i'm done with having to secure my bike with rubber straps...the 1up solution seems the most elegant

its not the info you asked for but a neighbor has the hitch rack. In case you haven't seen one, its an amazing bit of engineering that holds multiple bikes securely w/o touching. Its well designed and uses high quality fasteners etc.
Should last a lifetime.
