I got some very nice compliments a week ago when I posted a drawing I had done. Some of you mentioned that you were professional graphics people, architects, furniture builders... a few in the Cooper Union thread said you had been trained as artists.

I'd love to see some of the creative stuff that you all do.

Gavin,

I'm really digging this picture. I hope you don't mind me reposting it here. PM me if it's a problem and I'll remove it.

PS. What is in the picture after this one? (Kermesse set) a dead weasel?????

I was into bird photography for a while. Not sure this can be considered art as in "art" but here you go. My favorite capture!

Weasel, possum maybe? Whatever it was, it's now a furry pancake. Unfortunately this race didn't happen this year...

Great photo, Philippe.

Since junkfood doesn't seem to be around, here's some of his:

Very cool.

I live out in the woods and it's neat to hear the owls hooting at night.

Who, who, who, who cooks for you? ;)

Philippe,
Some great shots! You must have some incredible patience and some nice photo gear. Is an American kestrel the same thing as a sparrow hawk? Great work again.

Phillipe, I had no idea! Those are awesome. Cedar Waxwing is one of my favorites. They love the orchards around here. I'm a bird nut myself as hobby and for work (I'll be banding waterfowl in western Canada this August). I've been considering getting more into photographing birds... so I'm definitely interested in what kind of camera and lens you are using.

Sweet stuff on here. Love everything posted here and I am a fan of peeps that know how to work a lathe, gorgeous Steve.

I work as an architect and so do some sketching from time to time. These are rough sketches to get a feel for a building. Spending 10-15 mins sketching out locations like this really convinced me that all buildings have a soul.

This first one is an ink sketch I did of the Portland Headlight for my Mom (who is from there).

The second is a front of a house in Manzanilla, Mexico.

And the Virgin of Guadalupe Basilica in I think it was Guadalajara:
