I've been fascinated with Picasso's line drawings of animals for a long time and have messed around with doing something similar with a bike a few times, with pretty poor results...
This time I'm actually semi pleased with how it came out. For not being much of an artist, I think it came out pretty good looking.

That is very cool.
Toss it in a big guilded frame and call it a classic.

You should get that stenciled / painted on a frame!

Doh! Just a tad too late! (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=128348)
Not a bad idea though :) it has an understated pleasantness to it, I think.

Nice work!
Draw me one with a little more saddle extension and I'll put it up in my house.

Looks great, i think you could sell a million T shirts. You have a good eye, keep drawing.
I had a similar experience with Miro's art. I ended up filling the house with my paintings, kind of addictive.

Matt's plan is to be the Specialized / Trek of the bike line-drawing industry - no custom sizing.

Damn, and I thought that the level top tube was a sign that he was listening to my custom build requirements.

When we were kids we used to do that with sparklers on New Year's Eve: (random pic off the web)

Take that back... I'm now the proud owner of a digital copy of a Matt Tuck original with... CUSTOM SIZING! I'm glad I got in the queue before his list is Sachs or Sasha long.
No Matt, I won't flip it on ebay either as it has been sized for me. :D

There's a way to practice those that help a lot for drawing fundamentals in general. They are called contour drawings where you look at your subject and create line drawings without looking at the paper. It helps a lot to get a sense of form and how the line works suggestively. I usually do it as a warm up technique etc. (back when I actually had time to do fine art on the side).
As for your drawing, keep it up because that looks great. Also, as far as not "being an artist" - everyone is an artist, most have just put it aside for most of their adult lives.

Nice. I like the way it's one continuous line.
Time to quite the day job?
