Just let him race so we don't have to see or hear this again:

BTW- I think the whole band should be banned...

Seriously, stunning digs. Somebody invested his dollars well to give him that kind of spending power in spite of all the turmoil. I wonder if he still owns a place in Girona Spain?

Hopefully they'll be after him to get some of the $$ back.

Yeah it is a cool house, but did you check the price?

All that tells me is how low the demand is to live in place like Texas (and that is one of the good places).

Exactly. A place like that would be 5x or more around here

Looks as if there will be enough space for a yellow jersey display room.

Danny MacAskill could do an entire video at Lance's new house. Look at all the terrain for trials riding and bike magic.

Red Bull, are you listening?

I think the place is ripe for a reality TV show staring an outlaw country band, a heavy metal band and a group of rap artists, all forced to live in the same house for six months....with Lance, Matthew McConauhhay and their collective egos.

Hijinks would ensue.

Pure TeeVee gold.

Yep, easily 5x the value in my neck of the woods.

That shot of him with the yellow jerseys suggests bad taste. That is just a dark 'man-cave/rec room' in any typical suburban monster house. Looks tacky. Plus, are his walls empty now?

Trained as an architect, I can say that the exterior has some interesting moments, but . . . . . its nothing special on the interior. Property is pretty stunning, however.

I took one architecture class, sort of an 'architecture appreciation' course in college. It was actually pretty interesting and I took a lot away from it.

One of the things that the professor really hammered was how people interacted with a building. What I took away from that is the difficulty in assessing the impact of a building through pictures alone.

chipping away..chip, chip, chip...all will be forgiven at some point and he'll be the guy who did what he had to do to win (in the public eye). He must have been laughing last week when the stories about his home sale spelled his impending doom. His new pad is way nicer than the one he just sold.

Somebody mentioned a group ride with lance in Austin, recently. Still had police doing a running closure, these guys riding 4 abreast, lance in the front...he still has loyal followers and still has influence but even weiner says he has a chance at NYC mayor.
