That appears to be a counterfeit Thompson, the inside is not ovalized. Either way, they could have just used one of the old seat post pumps a few companies used to make

Hey Dan, I didn't know that. I had him for only one class - can't remember the number, but it was "Introduction to Basic Programming" or something like that. I remember on the last day of class he announced that he would rather we not all clap for him, I think because he thought it might indicate that we were happen to be done with the class, rather than it being our way of thanking him for a job well done. Minutes later at the end of class we all clapped anyway...
