How tough is a campy BORA wheelset?

too expensive for most of us to have tried. I spun a set around in a parking lot, but that won't help answer your question. I can say that I don't know how they did it, but the carbon weave is continous on the outside. There is no seam to be seen anywhere which is very impressive.

My view is don't ride it unless you can afford to replace it. ;) There are roads out there that can damage ANY wheel.

I think they must be pretty tough. In the televised coverage of this year's Hawaii Ironman, last year's winner Normann Stadler was riding Bora's and had multiple flats and got so frustrated he was throwing the wheels around like a madman, pounding them into the ground. He totally lost it but the wheels held up quite well to his tantrums.
