As I was on the rollers today I noticed a darker silver area developing on the front roller of my fews months old Kreitlers, somewhat wide and somewhat to the left of center (bailout direction, if needed). I wondered what the pros see when they look down at the front roller, e.g. a dead center stripe about 20mm+/- in width?

What do you think their patterns looks like, and what about yours, too?

i actually do some drills while seated
and then while standing
simulating a climbing motion
with my front wheel.
the result is pretty wide band width
on the rollers.
other than during that drill
i don't look down at the drum at all.
i've been watching lord of the rings
with my wife riding the kreitlers next to me...
...she by the way
has the front drum of her rollers pulled slightly ahead of mine...
...and TT...
yes, they're still made of mahogony!

Let's keep politics out of the discussion, please!

from the perspective of someone facing me it would be to the right of center, just to set the record straight.
