I have been missing out on riding too much, so with the advent of warmer weather it is time to build up one of my road frames. I will use Ultegra 9 speed STI, Mavic wheels, etc. since I already have the components.

I have a Steelman SR525 built up (going to keep it) but am looking to build up one of the other steel frames I have. They are all in excellent condition, all fit me well, and all are aesthetically pleasing to me.

So, with that, which one would you build up and why?

Davidson Impulse (Prestige Tange tubing)

Giordana (Columbus SLX tubing)

Basso Gap (Basso Concept tubing)

Gianni Motta (Columbus Tubi Rinforzati Garantiti Acciaio Speciale tubing)

Thanks,

Frank

Hey Frank, is that Giordana the mid-80s / early 90s version with a white / yellow / blue paint scheme? If so, my buddy has one and it is beautiful. Build that! :)

build the giordana. you may have one of milani's creations there. the jerk thinks dario pegoretti's mentor made many of those frames.
