Felt like I was riding on glue. Still 100 times better than 'riding' indoors on a trainer!

Yeah, my grampa lives on a road that really does become 'mud' around here. I wouldn't take my road bike on it during mud-season. This road gets more traffic and wasn't too bad... a few ruts, and wet spots, but overall, it was just soft enough to feel the resistance but not so much that I was sliding around.
