I'm looking for DIY wooden glide bike plans. Anyone built one and wouldn't mind sharing, I'd like to make one for my son for next christmas.

Thanks,
Jason

Thanks. I was sure I saw a post with plans a while back, but haven't been able to find it.

Bobswire who hangs out here sent me plans of his. I was ready to get started building when my son and daughter in law expressed interest in getting our grandson into Strider racing so we went that route.
if you are set on building your own try Bobswire.
BTW he used the Strider for less then 6 months before graduating to two wheels.

Not sure if this is the solution you were after, but we would sell customers a bike, pull the cranks/bb out and let the kid stride around on it. When they felt comfortable, we'd reinstall the cranks/bb back and then they'd be pedaling their merry way.

It eliminates having to buy two bikes.
