Check out the video of Bob Roll, Ron Kiefel and Andy Hampsten battle it out in Boulder. This was a fundraiser for the LAF and after the race, they each signed their mounts and auctioned them off!

I went to that event with a bunch of friends but we had to leave before the race. I was wondering how the race turned out.

Perhaps we should make a tricycle the official mount for the TDF. I think that it would create interest in the North American NASCAR market. Think about the descents. Nobody would survive the first stage. Crashes everywhere. The television ratings would be incredible.

You were at the race and know how embarrassed I was. I raced my Ottrott and lost by 2 laps.

At least my Serotta passed the safety and minimum speed requirements. Sadly to say, your custom Carbon Calfee did not.

Only reason my bike didn't qualify is it ain't a tricycle. As for safety, I disqualified myself to maintain mine.

People in the know know just how custom your Ottrott is. If you take my meaning...

Still, it was all good fun seeing you beat out that five-year-old in a sprint to avoid coming in dead last. That was a sprint..wasn't it?!
