I'm looking for a front der clamp for my braze-on dura ace 7900 der. The Shimano clamps for mechanical ders are all silver, and I really want black.

Would the campy clamp work with Shimano? Or how about the sram clamp? Thanks!

Or will a Shimano Di2 clamp work with a mechanical der? Thx!

A clamp is a clamp, it should fit any derailleur. Problem Solvers come in silver and black, are easy to find, and they have a couple different styles so just pick the one you like. Or Parlee if you want a clamp with some carbon bling to it.

I can't see why the electronic wouldn't work with the mechanical, they both would have to be designed to mount to a standard frame braze on. Maybe the Eletronic clamp is a little beafier to handle the extra horsepower of the electronic FD when shifting. :bike:

What I would do if I had a silver one.

FSA makes a pretty nice looking black one.

Campagnolo clamp will work fine and congratulations on your first piece of Campagnolo gear.

K-edge makes anodized clamps. They are pricey but nice. Add a chain catcher.
