Wanted to pick up the new issue of Rouleur, so took a little field trip to Ride.Studio.Cafe http://ridestudiocafe.com/ Among their collection of Rapha gear, they have a pretty big 'demo fleet' of Seven bikes.

Also, they had a brand I hadn't heard of before, Honey Bikes. Website here. (http://www.honeybikes.com/) Apparently it's built by Seven, but some sort of sub-brand. I didn't get the whole story, but an interesting new brand.

They had one built up as a sort of rando/dirt road bike. Was nice looking. Pictures aren't great, but here you go...

Great little shop.

Distracted my girlfriend with crazy coffee while I looked at sweet bike stuff.

I like the Honey line. Great stuff. I kinda wonder if Serotta took a page from Seven's book when they created the Fondo and the Bilbo.

I've literally rode by there about a million times and just never went in. I've been meaning to join their KIT ride out of there for a while, but have been off the bike for a few months and can't keep pace with a 4 year old on a Big Wheel at the moment.

Also was just reading about their presence in the Harvard general store. Kinda think that's a little bit of brilliance. Loads of riders stop in there, but whizz right by RSC.

The Honey frames look interesting but the complete build prices on the mtb's are bizarre. Hopefully the website is a work in progress because their prices for complete bikes are way out of line. $2695 for an Alivio/Dart build...

Just to jump on the bandwagon, I really like this place. The baristas that I've talked to are very nice and friendly, as are the rest of the staff. It's a nice stop to incorporate on some of the rides, and in the summer there are a lot of nice bikes parked outside.

I've enjoyed chatting with the mechanic (Jeff) and the shop reminds me of my home LBS (Velotech in Palo Alto), so I've been bringing my bikes to them for work. A bit slower than the larger LBSs close to me, but I don't mind.
