A lunch time ride to Quaix

I'm in single parent mode for a week and I'm not ashamed to admit that it's been kicking my butt. By the time I get to work I'm exhausted, and there will be no chance of riding this weekend, except maybe with a kid trailer. At work, smoke came out of a half million dollar x-ray detector, so a lunchtime ride today was necessary to de-stress. It was a beautiful day for it too, with one exception: crazy wind. No way that was stopping me from riding though! The ride was one of my standard loops up to Quaix, and then over Celemenciere. It has a couple of climbs, but the the "big" one (small by local standards) is up to Quaix. It's only 2.4 k, but it averages more than 10% and is a bit of a shock from the dead flat valley floor. Not too many cars though, and the switchbacks are short, so you can't see what's in store for you most of the time.
