Can I use my 18-25x700 tubes with my 33 Jack Browns?

you are stretching them pretty thin I think. More fragile and likely to lose air faster than you would expect.

pump up some butyl tubes outside the tire and you'd be surprised how big they can go. but yes, you're stretching the same amount of rubber farther so it will necessarily get thinner.

yes, you can. but don't.

Thanks for the info. I have been getting away with using Michelen 700x18-25 on my Grand Bois 700x29. Its probably going too far with the 33's.

I used a 20-28 tube in my 35c all year and I have had no problems, I also use 26" tubes in my 29er.

I do it often times with CX tires in the winter. Carrying that as a spare makes it easier to change a tube on the road in a hurry, less chance of a pinch flat. But I'm a cheapskate when it comes to training tires and tubes, heavy both ways, so the tube is pretty thick butyl.

I use standard 18-25 tubes (Continental) in my Grand Bois 700x30 without any issues. Doesn't lose air too quickly. BTW, the 700x30's measure just over 32mm on my rims.
