Today was not the most ideal day to do a time trial.
The roads were wet and the wind kicked up quite a bit. I almost lost my umbrella a couple of times.
Nonetheless, the riders did spectacular jobs.
My favorite part of the day was hearing the guys yell at each other.
Team Sky yelling, "All together?!" after turning a sharp corner. Blanco shouting things in what I think was Dutch. And AG2R screaming, "Allez, allez, allez" when they reached the 1km-to-go mark.
Pictures aren't very good, but I'll put a few up anyway. I couldn't get any of Omega or Cav when they took the podium because, strangely enough, the public was fenced off from that area. Only professional photographers allowed. Their cameras got doused in champagne.
