Can anyone recommend a source to get the easton proprietary splined track cogs?

if i'm not mistaken, i think the white industries splined cogs are compatible with the easton system. it doesn't look like easton makes any cogs.

hi, i race on the easton tko wheelset with those cogs. once i needed a small part for them and contacted easton sports directly and they helped me out. truly amazing wheels for track racing...but each part is sort of unique.

one thing i did to improve them (not related to post, just 2cents advice) was to change the front and rear bolts with dura ace track bolts. much more secure.

above is the contact info...good luck!

cool, thank you.

What was your problem with the easton nuts?

they were not as strong. the factory easton nuts do the job, but once i lost a race because during my initial "jump" acceleration my rear wheel went out of alignment because of cheap track nuts that slipped. this was on a different wheel set (not eastons) that had cheap track nuts....and i learned from that lesson. the dura ace ones are very, very well made, and are easier to take on and off repeatedly.

really a great wheel set for the velodrome. probably only about 1600 grams with the installed cog. very strong, very fast wheels.
