Im going to put this out there, since it seems that not everyone is aware of the EASIEST way to post photos here.

LINK THEM !

If your photos are hosted elsewhere (that includes here!), you can link them in any thread.

*Right click on the image you want to post
*Select "copy image URL"
*Click the "insert image" icon above on this forum in a reply or thread window
*Paste the copied URL

BOOM!

This works with any image on the web anywhere, with a few exceptions. Google image results, for example. just do the URL trick, no need to have the image saved anywhere.

This is true. But, the reason I do it this way is so down the road if the hosting site moves or removes those photos they don't become broken links in the builder's threads and then show up like this...

If you want to do it that way...

Do "Save as", rename it, save it, post it. That works for me when I re-post a photo stored on my computer.

Keith...thanks for pointing to the attachments section in the User CP...just di some cleanup.

Still not quite able to rename an existing pic and re-post it in another thread. For instance I get this message : IMG_6508 - Copy.jpg: You have already attached this file in thread : Kodak Gallery-Sierra Nevada Ottrott ". However, the referring image URL trick works great! Just tried it on my Ottrott.

Now, back to Vanderkitten. Having met those ladies I can tell you that not only are they very attractive, they are really nice, Here's Liz and team with my daughter four years ago. We ran into her at the very rainy Amgen stage in Santa Rosa (this was maybe a month or so after her bad crash) and then again at Sea Otter a few months later. She looked at Madz and said I remember meeting you. My crazy kid is now 13....time goes fast

Doing anything regarding images on an iPhone/iPad is a giant PITA. The simplest way I've found is to e-mail the image to my PC then work with that image from there.

That's wild. I didn't realize that isn't possible here. Just figured it was like every other forum I've ever seen and you can upload from your device. Funny that the pics I have added have always just been hosted elsewhere already so they have urls.

The picture icon (insert image) is for linking only.

When you start or reply to a thread, look below to the "Manage Attachments" button....
