Just noticed there are two distinctly different bikes pictured. Can anyone place the second or do you think it is legitimate?

The 2nd bike pictured in the Ebay add is clearly much larger than a 53cm frame....maybe more like a 60cm...it's very tall...plus it doesn't look like Ti....it looks like the aluminum matrix frames (Scandium or 7000 series) that they were making at the time.

In fact, Pantanni's frame was aluminum, not Ti....this was back in the day when all the Euro manufacturers were building really nice aluminum (mostly 7000 series Dedaccia) tubed stuff. Some of my old teammates rode them...they were very light and stiff. I myself had Bianchi's Ti Mega Tube...it was made from 6/4 with the crazy downtube shape...it was their hot bike right before Pantanni won the Tour.

Pantani's "Bianchi" most certainly wasn't Reparto Corse welded.
