Personally I'm looking forward to seeing Cav kick his butt now that he (Cav) no longer has to play second fiddle to Wiggoome. But yeah, he (Sagan) spices it up.

Apparently the Eurosport announcer interpreted that as a teapot. Followed by pointing out Eddy Merckx's beard envy. Too funny.

that's not the "teapot", it's the "Eh, what you expect...I no win?" Kid is a freak, hope he's clean

Stages will be won by both. Cav is a pure sprinter, Sagan is not.

Has anyone done an actual teapot celebration? That would be awesome.

The beard envy comment was very funny!

Contador, at the start of the race, looked positively uncomfortable around the opening celebration where the gentleman was brandishing the sword. lol

Well Sagan looks fantastic and just destroyed everyone at the finish. Well done Sagan!

It would have been better if he did a wheelie just then.

Yeah, I want to see Cav, Griepel and Sagan battle it out at a few finishes. I don't know what Sagan's plans are for the one day classics, but I for one would like to see how he does in them.

I don't actually put Sagan in the same grouping as Cav or Greipei...case in point, the uphill stage finish where he won in Oman, I won't expect Cav or Greipei to be in contention, the % grade and length are out of their normal range.

Pure speed-wise, Cav wins.

Pure wattage, Greipei perhaps.

Sagan is a bit more versatile, can be competitive in certain types of sprint finish that Cav or Greipei can't.

Good points you make all. But that is why I want to see them altogether battling it out. Good competition, and we will see who has it going on.

Peter Sagan of Cannondale this afternoon gatecrashed the expected showdown between Mark Cavendish of Omega Pharma-Quick Step and Andre Greipel of Lotto Belisol, who finished second and third respectively as the Slovak won the sprint finish to Stage 3 of the 2013 Tirreno Adriatico in Narni Scalo.
