Exustar SM343 Cold Weather Mountain Shoes

Anyone have any experience -- pretty cheap at Nashbar -- look like they'd be ok for commuting. Have a pair of Lake boots for my road bike that I love, but my commute is only 12 miles RT -- prefer MTB pedals and shoes for it.

Okay -- for what it is worth when the 20% off coupon came through on top of the $99 price I bought a pair. They seem similarly sized to the Lake's and equivalently warm based on construction not actual usage (eg neoprene liner etc). They don't seem quite as well made. The sole looks fairly aggressive if there is actual snow on the road. Can't speak to use for higher performance MTBing as opposed to commuting.
