Does anyone have experience with replacing the rails of a Brooks Professional Saddle? I purchased new rails and 16.5 mm cooper rivets. I need guidance regarding setting the new rivets. Which rivet setting tool should I use? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Brooks is actually really good about repairing saddles. They have a repair shop on the east coast where they basically have the skills and equipment to build the complete saddles. I would take this route because doing it yourself will likely void the warranty.

Another place for Brooks repairs:

I've ordered parts from them with great service, and they do repairs also. You could get in touch with them and get an answer about the rivets.

The website doesn't seem to be working right now, hopefully it's temporary.

There is a guy on bikeforums C&V (rhm) who makes his own leather saddles using old frames. You might drop him a note for advice.
