Looks a little beat up but it has DA 9 speed and Mavic brakes. Not mine, no relation, etc....

Ad text is as follows: "Sweet high end road bike. 55cm top tube Serotta Ottrott carbon/titanium frame with F3 Serotta carbon fork. This bike is equipped with Dura Ace 7700 crank, front/rear derailluer, and 7700 flight deck 9 speed shifters. Mavic brakes, Easton stem, and carbon ITM handle bars. Has Shimano SPD pedals, carbon seat post and Continental 4000 Grand Prix tires. Chris King headset and nice new Bontrager saddle. It does have some marks and scratches but the frame is solid. One chip on carbon tube through the clear coat but carbon has not been compromised. You can see it in the pic. Wheels could use some a little truing. This bike rides like a dream and was top of the line in it's time. Legendary brand with top components. Make me a reasonable offer and the bike is yours! Text 210-827-71 three five or email me."

Man, I usually don't comment on things like this but that is a screaming deal if it is for real. Plus the brakes alone can be resold (here) for $125 easily...if you prefer shimano or some other

Looks kind of rough... scratches down the forks and seat stays... still, I'd like it if Chevron doesn't buy it.

hi, just asking, not that this is my size (it's too small), but isn't the Ottrott model one of the best frames ever made? Is it the one that Bicycling Magazine wrote glowingly about about 10 years ago...combined carbon and titanium? just asking. i recall the words "magic carpet ride" being used.

now, i ask you, who wouldn't want to buy a "magic carpet ride" bike!

just curious.

You're right. I have the Ottrott's little sister, a Fierte IT mixed Ti and Carbon and wouldn't change it for anything... well maybe for an Ottrott :)

Plus everybody here that has ridden one have nothing but great things to say about them.
