I love this place, check in a lot.

We have mentioned many things about improvements such as further sub categories for topics and such and I completly understand why things haven't changed even further. Not knowing about the software involved in this place are there fun gadgets available w/o adding costs we could play around with? I dig the :"like" button idea someone mentioned so I don't have to reply with a plus one to a topic and take even more cache space.

Some fun smilies we could add? Is there hidden stuff available we just don't know about?

So mods and grand poobahs, are there some fun gadgets we can add to make this place even better?

please :D

We're working on it. Remember, when the forum was taken over it was like getting a used car that hadn't been updated in a while. We're working on the tune up so keep the suggestions coming.:)

One more vote for the "like" button.

I would also LOVE an RSS feed. I believe vBulletin has this built-in, you just have to enable it. Why? So I never miss a good deal in the classifieds!

No worries, I was wondering if that was the case, but I don't have as extensive knowledge on these things as some others.

Thank you for doing so much behind the scenes for our entertainment.

Why do we need a "like" button? This isn't Facebook.

because it is all about me. If I cannot have it the way I want it, I will pout. I want things my way. ;)

not YET. I'm waiting for the IPO, then we'll all be rich, but the wait lists for ever builder will get VERY long. Then we can sit around here and day dream about paint options. oh wait....

That's what I also thought until they added one to a local bike forum. It's very useful, you like a post instead of saying +1, or +1000, which is just noise imho.

Hey guys -- Thanks for the suggestions. I'm in the process of modifying the forum to feature the ads from our supporters and this should roll out next week. I'm also fixing some problems I've discovered from when we upgraded to vBulletin 3.8.7. Once I get this taken care of, I can look into some of your requests. Regarding the "like" option, I'm not sure if this is a feature of vBulletin 4.x or not...but I can check.

Ads? Who wants to stare at ads? How about this place stays at least somewhat of a refuge from commercialism? The dancing bananas are bad enough; I now have to look at lube?

It's definitely included in the package. Thanks for the hard work Keith!

However, we now do have some sponsors on the forum which will help with costs of maintaining this place. Our plan is to place one row of small ads/logos underneath our banner up top.

Seems pretty darn reasonable. I am one of the many that appreciate the efforts of all behind the scenes. And I'll be checking out any sponsor's stuff... But it would be nice to have a decent way to read this on a phone...
