56cm Colnago Dream Reflex Columbus Altec 2 Frame
1" Colnago Flash Carbon Fork (alloy steerer)
Black Chris King headset
Bontrager Race XXX Lite Seatpost
Brand new Campy Seat Collar
And a stem, if you need one.

56cm top tube, 56 cm seat tube (approx 58.5 to top of collar), 16cm headtube, exclusive of the headset.

$450 Shipped in CONUS. Cheaper if you pick it up or meet me near NYC.

Really nice bike, I enjoyed riding it immensely. Stiff, smooth (more comfy than my CAADs and the IF Crown Jewel I used to have), and in quite good condition. I just bought another bike though, so need to make room.

The worst scratches are from chainslap, and some paint bubbling near the F. Der braze on, but that's par for the course for a frame like this.

PM with any questions, no trades right now, though.

Thanks,
Paul

I have one of these. I agree that the ride is surprisingly good. Frankly, its a lot better than my colnago master that rides like a rock.

I am thinking about jumping but am abit hesitant about it being alu...I normally ride steel...any folks out here ride them both or have any opinions via ride quality of a Colnago alu to a steel one?

IMO the ride will depend a lot of the geometry, no experience in colnago aluminum so can't tell. But the nice about aluminum is that the bikes are really snappy and climb really well compared to steel if you are looking for something for racing.

thanks Ultraman...my racing days are gone...I have never tried alu and always heard lots of stories about frames snapping...that was a long time ago tho...have always lusted after a Colnago, but maybe this isnt the one...all my terrain these days is rolling as well...great price tho and a gorgeous looking bike...

Every arse is different, but I had one of these and found it very stiff compared to a Colnago Master Olympic. It was too stiff for me, but I am no racer. As a point of reference I currently have mostly steel in the stable (other than a Time VX Special Pro).

Found an old pic of mine...

Had one exactly like this with steel fork. Ride was very comfortable not like Al at all. Not sure if the fork made the difference or not. Wish I had kept it.

It's interesting to me that we have had opposite experiences. My Master rides like a rock. I think it's the Colnago chrome fork.

My Dream rides nice, but it does have a ritchey carbon fork.

I was expecting the opposite because the Dream is a bike for a bigger guy, it's 60 or 61 with Freuler extensions. The Master is a 57 or so, and is a little small for me. I was expecting to be a little heavy for the frame, and thus expecting the frame to feel flexy. My expectations were wrong.

This is blasphemy, but it was my experience too. I thought the precisa fork was heavy and harsh. Found a much better ride after I put a carbon flash fork on the same frame.

Like this one, tad big... hope you find a good home for it. The guys here dont like AL too much apparently, nothing bad with AL imo.
