I want to install fenders. My Legend cross has a front BB7 disc setup. The caliper will block the fender stay. Is there a way around (literally) this problem?

Is this the only solution?;

P-clamp above the disk mount and matching (if you must be symmetrical) on other fork leg. Mount per usual. Roberto es tu tio.

Planet Bike Cascadia fenders include the necessary spacers. I run them on my BB7-equipped Vaya, and they work great.

It's easy if you buy the right hardware. For the front I used a front brake nut from a recessed mount brake as a spacer on a longer bolt to make it around the caliper. For the rear I believe I went inside the rear triangle instead outside and avoided the caliper altogether.

I simply did it asymmetrically and bolted the caliper side to the disc mount - works perfectly.

That workaround looks good to me. I have Cascadia fenders and bb7 calipers, and the spacers that came with the fenders work, but the fender stay rubs against the engagement arm.

Bend the stays slightly and you're good to go.

A little dog leg usually works- it need not be dramatic.

Thanks. What is that silver 'sleeve' thing at the disc?

Thanks. I may try this first. Seems the easiest to do.

symmetry is not essential. Thanks.
