has anyone here tried/have these? can you give me a real world measurement on its inflated size?

i'm currently using 28c ultremos which baaaarely fit under the rear brake bridge. i've tried the challenge parigi roubaix tires but they rubbed right off the bat and i had to abort that attempt.

Can't answer your questions directly, but you might want to try Michelin Pro 4 25c's (which measure 27mm.)

I have used both the Grand Bois and the Parigi-Roubaix. The GB's are slightly smaller than the PRs. On a DT Swiss rr.1 the PRs are more like 29mm wide, and the GB's are more like 28mm. You'll get a little more room, but don't expect a lot more.

But I can say that I measured a set of Cypres on a set of Hed C2's yesterday an they were 32mm on the nose.

@kevintice -- how do you rate the ride and durability of the Cerfs vs the Parigi Roubaixs? Thanks!

HA! Perfect. It'll be on the same rim so that's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Happen to know heights as well?

I will measure both later today and post the results. As to durability the GB is more flat resistant and lasts longer in my experience. That said, neither one is all that tough. But they sure ride nice.. I feel that the Gb has a "softer, cushy ride" while the PR is more "lively". The tread rubber is much thinner on the PR. my experience has been that the PR is quite difficult to mount on the DTSwiss rr1.1, at least for the first few times then it stretches some and easier. I think that an ultralight rim strip like a Rox is absolutely required.

No experience with the Cerf, but 15,000 mi experience with the Cypres, which is the same tire, but a little wider.

I averaged 1 flat every 300 miles with the Parigi Roubaix on the same roads where I've consistently averaged 1,500 miles or better between flats on the Cypres. The ride of the Parigi Roubaix is magical: pavement cracks simply vanish. It makes the 1 flat every 300 miles bearable, except in the winter. While the ride of the Cypres is very nice, it's nothing like the Parigi Roubaix.

The tread thickness on the Cypres is much more than the Parigi Roubaix. In fact, the tread on the latter feels no thicker than the sidewalls. I haven't worn out a set of the PRs but I'd be very surprised if the Cypres didn't outlast them 3:1 or better.

I have them on my Kirk. I measure 29mm on A23's.

I also have them on A23s, they were 29mm across at first but over time they grew to close to 30mm. They seem as high above the rim as they are wide (eyeballed)

I measure 29.4 on HED C2s.

Very comfortable at 70psi front 80psi rear. With a front bag added and some weight, not quite so comfortable over chipseal. I'm going to try dropping the front by 5 psi to see if it helps.

@vqdriver- I measured both the GB and the PR..@80psi they measure as follows: PR 29mm wide and 47.2mm tall, including the rim (think a cross section of the inflated tire and the rim) I measured front tires to get similar wear between the two.

the GB was 27.6mm and 46.8mm tall

Mileage on each tire probably about 1200-1300 miles.

I wouldnt be surprised if I get on average a flat every 300 miles on the PR...at least half as many on the GB. I maybe get 1500 miles on an PR (rear) if all goes well. I probably have destroyed 4 PRs that were cut or whatever.

I'm guessing that the GBs last maybe 2500 miles (rear)

You can always buy them, and if you don't like them, I'll buy them from you at a steep discount. So there's that.
