They bought the rights to Juliet Macur's upcoming book. I am hoping for an interesting look into what it took to expose Armstrong and everything he did in an teempt to prevent it.

pretty sure Damon was tapped to play him years ago, when they were going to make a movie about Lance's upswing. Regardless, this movie will be painful in so many ways, especially for us cycling geeks. It would be nigh impossible to portray any pro cycling with any degree of accuracy. There are just too many details to screw up. Unless they get a bunch of actual pros to ride in the background, it will look like a parking lot crit. Any actor playing Armstrong would have to lose 30 pounds without looking like a refugee.

Abrams is a hack. Never has a director tried so hard to take a borrowed cinematic riff element and make it into a signature. The lens flare is stylistically borrowed, not stolen because Abrams doesn't possess the requisite talent to steal.
