Judging by the opening salvos at TDU and San Luis, who do you fancy their chances?

Personally, I must say I am still in AWED of the German tank....the size of his thigh, I mean.

Check out this video of stage 1 TDU, notice how he distanced himself from the other ...ahem...I am not sure if you can call them rivals, fighting over the crumbs perhaps? I know that sounds harsh. :fight:

Of course we all know the Max Man has that ability as well.

I can't wait for the fireworks to start!

Hmm...I like Greipel, a lot actually but I don't think he can hold a candle to the Manx Missile.

He looks thinner this season, who knows... will be a nice battle.

Darn Schlep lost minutes in the 1st stage :D Don't see the guy doing crap this year.

I'm a huge ManXmissle supporter and I just have to believe that some one has to prove first they can really beat him more than once or twice. Cav power/weigh, positon on the bike, tactics, and the fact he's built a bit better IMO for stage wins is what takes the cake. Greipal is impressive now, but it's a bit early in the season. What about the Cav's Champs Élysées win?

Cav.

He's back on a Specialized McLaren and all is right with the world.

Greipel is 6' and probably 170 this season. Next to 135 pound dudes he looks even more massive obviously.

Now this guy is huge, NFL-Adrian-Peterson big:

oh my word!:eek::)
I am curious to see if greipel manages to overcome his typical weakness in the past; he tends to back off a bit when the finish gets chaotic, seems to have less tolerance for risk taking and lastly, understandably with his bigger frame, not as nimble, thus tends to be a tab slower in that sudden burst of speed department that Max man is so good at.

time will tell...

No idea if the gorilla did track at some point in his life as a rider. Because that could be the difference why the missile dont care, he did a lot of track, that makes you more confident and fearless.

Now that we had the opportunity to see the Maxman in action at Tour of Qatar, I must say....sorry Greipei no cigar.

At about 5:53 min, watch the genius and the coolness/confidence of the Missile Man...unbelieveable stuff.

Yauheni Hutarovich, who??!!

The Agr sprinter came close a couple of times to be able to read the serial # on Cav's bike.
