Thanks Lance!! You now are giving every doofy radio host and "caller" an opportunity to remind the public that:
-cycling isn't a sport, it's "exercise in your underwear"
-anyone who "works out" could compete in a bike race. How hard could it be?
-cyclists have no place on the road

All this reinforcement of already negative sentiment towards our sport is far more damaging to you and me than it is to the pro ranks of the sport.

I know it's my fault for listening, but I have a soft spot for the NFL and I listen during the season. It makes my blood boil, but I promised myself I'd never be the kind of dippy bastard who waits on hold for 1/2 hour to call into a radio show.

I think I must have a gene mutation that will not allow me to ever listen to sports radio. Actually, it's kinda like a super-power.

I envy you!! I only listen during the NFL season, but still it's a dirty, rotten weak habit of mine.

Yeah I've been listening lately and nary a word about LA but probably because of the 49ers and Kaepernick being the hot story here.
BTW those same jerks calling up dissing cycling I'm sure felt the same way before the LA fall from grace.
