i don't know if it was the fact that i didn't
sink any money into a dedicated cross bike,
that i really liked the feel of the dugast 28 cross tires on the ottrott
or had the time of my life exploring off-road trails and gravel roads
in the beautiful iowa great lakes...places i'd never seen in my own backyard.
...but it was like riding again for the pure joy of it...
...like in my middle school days getting up before school
and riding at daybreak
just because it was so much fun to be out there on my bike!!
