Hi, I'm trying to visualize things for a new build. Anyone have pics of a Tig MAX frame with a steel fork (not a uni-crown) or a Tig MAX frame with a Wound Up? preferrably a side view
Both forks are relatively svelte looking (well, a MAX fork isn't) compared to the more beefy MAX tubes, so just wondering what the overall aesthics would look like. I love the looks of a straight-blade sloped crown steel fork, and I'm also quite fond of the way a Wound Up looks with a Ritchey polished stem and post (I'm kinda odd that way I know...Wound ups aren't for everyone :-). ...I've always loved the looks of the Colnago Precisa fork with the straight blades.
Anyway, I haven't been able to find any good side view pics. I'm wondering if the thinner fork legs and crown of either fork will look out of place against the large MAX tubes.
An Enve fork is still a possibility, but I've considered these two options as well (for tire clearance reasons)...especially a steel fork. Anyway, just looking to have a little more clarity for the builder by the time my turn comes up in queue and we start discussions.
