Watching the men's now, and they're having a lot of equipment issues.

Is there a reason why they don't use di2 or other electronic shifting? they're having problems with freezing cables.

i don't use di2 or do cx, so there might be a reason... but seems like it's the right solution to the problem?

Also, unless the batteries can be internally mounted (not so far), it would interfere with shouldering.

Also, some cx bikes do not have bottle cage mounts
