Editing Classified Threads

Is it possible to delete old replies to a post? I just keep adding and deleting from a FS thread I started for misc. clothing and components. But deleting the old replies for stuff long since sold would be nice to reduce clutter. I recall someone doing this for a wheels FS post, replies were never there for more than a day.

I think that was a mod keeping his sale thread uncluttered, we mere mortals can't do that.

Why not start a new thread and ask mod to delete the old one? Or just start a new one and let the other fade away into the archive for people to use for research?

A lot of for sale forums I frequent do NOT allow replys to for sale postings. The OP is the only one who can reply.
