Pugsly... 4 inch tires and all.
I think I read a post somewhere about a guy that just got one. It was very heavy, like 35 or 37#'s. More than half the weight was in the tires and wheels. You can run very low tire pressure with it, like 4psi.
Crazy... I like it....

Reminds me of the Rokon motorcycle. A go anywhere, over anything, fat tired, all wheel drive mini motorcycle.

Lemme guess. It is a Ididabike rig? Sweet. Nice bit of design. I'll give $20. Big Bill is the only honest man here so he holds the $$s.

Surly calls it the Pugsley. I'm going to get a quote on building one up. My goal is to have the perfect townie, off-rodie, snowie, go anywhere bike. I want to go single speed with avid mechanicals and road bars. I have a set of Rams just waiting for a project like this!!! ;)

With those wheels, it looks like the bicycle equivalent of an Alaskan bush plane!

I saw one in person at a shop in town (Bike & Rack Shack, St. Louis), it was just the frame--but it was pretty impressive. Monster truck of bikes was the impression I got.
I've got a Surly Karate Monkey, which is similar--but won't take tires that wide.
The Pugsly is meant for snow riding and sand, if I remember correctly. The original name for the frame was going to be 'Soccer Mom'--but Surly decided on Pugsly instead.
Surly makes some interesting stuff. Cheap, functional cro-mo frames in a lot of different configurations.

Ok Karate Monkey is at least as good a name as Mud Pig if not better.
