As soon as I heal, ditto.

Bring on 2013!

So long, flatlands. Hello, hills!

First two are good, but you can't ride every day.

If I was retired and could get laser eye surgery (riding in the rain with glasses sucks!) I would!

Sure you can, even if the ride is a 'bike path bounce around', it's a day to get on the bike and turn the pedals. Doesn't have to be a 'power/strength/heartrate/watts/slugfest'...sometimes it's for your noggin, not your legs.

Wife retired last Firday, I'm next..to really retire(already did once in 1993, USN)...maybe a year from now?? I'm 62 tomorrow-

I'd ride everyday it wasn't like today...10 degrees F and snow, snow, ice, etc.

Congrats on your wife's retirement, Peter! (and an early happy birthday to you)

Riding more is on my list. So is wrenching more. (learning to build a wheel in particular)

I love you man.

My resolution is twofold:
- ride more
- crash less

Wise words as always. Happy birthday

Why did I have to start the new year off with road rash http://forums.thepaceline.net/images/smilies/help.gif

...will not be the first to bail out of a scheduled ride because heavy rain is predicted.
