SRAM brakeset question...

Hi all,

Besides weight, are their any other differences between a Rival, Force or Red brake set? Performance wise, mostly or even finish differences...

the new SRAM RED 2012 is different and I don't know if the newer 2013 Force has changed its Design to the Red yet.

yea, the most recent red brakes look like below. i believe part of the idea was to optimize the brake to work with the new wider rims of today. probably in practicality that boils down to nothing, but they are certainly different.

if you're talking about previous gen stuff -- i think the only difference was weight (and that rival wasn't indexed on the QR lever)
