threaded is the classiest, best-looking setup known to you humans.

threadless looks bad like lemur butts

Threads and lugs are cool.

the proportions are better ( you also need a nice old 3ttt to go with it)

It depends on the vintage of the bike. My once phlegmatic sense of aesthetics have changed greatly. I embrace the new look...

If you are going to use threadless on a luged bike- you need one of these

The bestest 1" threaded stem is this one...... Mine.

That De Rosa is cool. I would put a longer cable on the front brake though. Attached is my bike with Delta brakes. No frontal views though.

Love those classic Campagnolo equipped Italian racers!!!

You may have me there.......... That one is pretty neato. I had a Cinelli 1/R stem. It was cool to look at, less solid-feeling than the 1/A. Is that a Shimano?

I have to agree, lugs and threaded looks very elegant IMHO...here's my De Rosa with Ugo's panto'd signature...the close up pic was taken before I removed the Shimano components

Both can be done properly. I'm getting threaded on my next (rando) bike for adjustability. That wasn't a concern on this bike...

Lugs and threads go together like teenagers and drugs or plastic hair and surf boards - just the way things were meant to be.

I ain't got no plastic hair  but I do have a several lugged steel machines with threaded headsets :D and a plastic bike with a threadless headset.
