I was cleaning my bike today and was looking over my pro race 3 tires and saw casing and decided to pull them. I am not sure if this was discussed recently, so please point me to the thread if it has been. But if you have 2 cents worth I am wondering about the pro4 service course tire and what I used to ride the Veloflex Pave.
Any input would be appreciated.

Happy holidays

i ride them both Bob. both good tires. the pro4 is a bit of a tougher version of the pro3 IMO. the veloflex ride nicer, but the pro4's will last longer. cant go wrong with either IMO.

pro4 currently on my serotta:

Yep, 3s are nice but tender/delicate. The Conti 4000s I have had better luck with and riding is fine for me. Happy holidays.

these tires from schwalbe are lightweight but quite durable. I have put a more than 2 thousand miles on two different sets (on two diferent bikes) this season & they should go another 1-2K. The ride quality far exceeds conti 4000S & prorace 3 they replaced. They are cut/flat resistant as the contis but roll faster & grip better than either of those tires. Those ProRace 3 were turned into belts for my kids for xmas.
